mY wEeKeNd In PeNaNg

salam and hi to all... how r u?? hope that all of you are doing good... last weekend me, MD n lala was in penang... lala's bro, ijad is engagement is on 8 june 08... the 3 of us and MD as the head were the one whom did the hantaran.. so let me tell you our journey to penang...

6 june 08
lala came to my house at 5.30pm... took all the stuff in, salam my family and we left to fetch MD... since lala was caught in the jam earlier, so we couldn't meet MD at her office... we went straight to her sis house... we took the wrong way, blame me for that as this is my first time going there using the old way... normally i will just take the highway.. we took mmr2, instead of exiting at selayang we went straight up to sg buloh :-D afraid of us getting lost futher MD told us to take the highway to rawang.. so we took the highway to rawang... reach there at 7.40pm.. MD took all her stuff and we went for dinner at 6 points... the food here is nice with big portion and reasonable price.. after dinner we went staright to MD house to take all the hantaran stuff... while waiting for MD to get ready me n lala pack all the things that need to be taken there.. by 9.30pm, MD was ready n we started our journey.. since we had dinner we didn't stop anywhere except at Sg perak to fill in the tank... reach lala's house at 1.50am... hehehehehe.. the family was still awake waiting for us.. had some milo, caht for a while n we went to sleep... me n MD slept in lala's room.. it was 3am in the morning n guess what me n MD couldn't sleep... so we talk for almost an hour.. at 4am we dozz off...

7 june 08
woke up at 9.30am.. took my bath.. than we had milo while waiting for ijad to buy the roti canai.. after breakfast n some chit chat, we start our battle of doing the hantaran... lala n family went to the market to get few stuff... we did the hantaran till 4pm.. than we stop to have our lunch.. after lunch we lepak.. after maghrib we went out... our first journey was to get the cake n choc... i didn't know that it is so difficult to get hershey's cookies n cream choc in penang.. we went to giant, sunshine, tesco n cold storage but we couldn't find it.. we end up with toblerone n merits... after buying all this, we went to the night market at ferringhi... MD n lala bought cds... from there we went to masjid kapitan to have my fav nasi kandar beratur!!! thanks to MD, lala n ijad whom just agree with me... we reach back home at 1++... went to bed zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.......

8 june 08
woke up at 8++am... had milo n bread for breakfast.. n we started doing the hantaran again.. start with the bunga rampai... than we did the ring set, followed with the tepak sireh... these two need to be done today as we are using fresh flowers... in order for the flower to be fresh and still blooming nicely, we did it today... after that we touch up the cake, jelly n fruits.. at the very last minute, MD show her talent in flower arrangement... alhamdulillah everything was done by 1.45pm... i will say that we were very satisfied with the end result n we really hope that everyone will like it... me n MD didn't attend the event as at the nick of time , there was no water... so no way that we will go without taking our bath so we just stayed home.. after everyone left, i sweep the hall as the flowers were all over the place... after than, me n MD arrange the kuihs n mee hoon while ijad made the drinks.. after everything was done at the table, me n MD relaxs... it was 2.30pm when ijad's friends came over to the house.. me n MD decided to take our bath n lepak... it was almost 5pm when they came back... n the hantaran was very the pink n very typical.. by than me n MD was hungry as we only had the fried mee hoon and some kuih... since everyone is busy we could only wait.. at 8pm, me, MD, lala n ijad went for dinner at Bangkok restaurant, i must say that the service is superb and the food is good... after dinner, we started our journey home... reach MD's house at 1++ n reach my home at 2.15am.. lala slept over at my house... thanks to lala n ijad for paying for all our food there...

9 june 08
i woke up at 10++am... drink my milo n chit chat with ma... lala woke up at 11am.. had nasi goreng for breakfast n chit chat again.. lala left at noon... she need to do some housekeeping :-D.. at 2pm, took sis fo rher check up... sis is 38 weeks pregnant now.. her due date is on 20 june... at the moment she is staying with us as she will deliver the baby at ampang hospital n wil stay at home during her confinement... can't wait for the baby... my doa is everything goes well for sis n her baby... after maghrib, we went to jusco alpha angle.. went to browse for playpen... we reach back home at 10++... so that was my weekend...
