KL - Penang - Taiping - KL

at 9.30am me and family left the house for a trip to the northern state of malaysia. went for breakfast at Mc'D....ahmad's fav...from there we start ourt journey to penang. me as usual will sleep all along the journey...i know Pa and Ahmad can drive all the way...hehehe...reached Penang at 2.00pm. firstly we check in to the hotel. then we went to look for our fav nasi kandar stall next to masjid kapitan keling..unfortunately it was closed...sob..sob...dad took us to some other restaurant where the food was bad...i didn't enjoy it at all...when back to hotel...rest...in the evening went to Chow Rasta...bought some jeruk...at night we thought of going to the new mall at bayan lepas. we manage to get there, saw the mall but unable to find the entrance to the mall...end up we turn back :(...went again to the nasi kandar stall and lucky us the stall is open..so we had our fav nasi kandar there...that's for the day....

woke up at about 9am...took my bath, went for breakfast. ahmad had his asthma attack..so he was not in mood...he sleep through out our journey to taiping...we reached taiping at about 12 noon....went to search for a hotel nearby the lake....alhamdulillah we found one...kamalodge...new place..still nice...after check in to the chalet, went for our lunch...went to the pasar melayu..the food was not bad...after that went back to the chalet...sleep...hehehe...in the evening went to cashier market for our tea time...i had my fav popia over there...after lepakig there...we went to the nigt safari...but it was a turn down...nothing much that we could see...we paid, we went and saw what we could see...went back to hotel...ahmad and zaidi went for a swim...then we had supper from the chalet...than it was sleeping time...

woke up at about 9.30am..oohh when i go for holiday with my family one of the thing that i like to do the most is sleep...hehehe....took my bath, get ready, pack our stuff...went to the rstaurant for our breakfast...the food was good, the presentation was also good. all of us enjoyed our breakfast...the we went straight to maxwell hill...the road to go up there is really winding...no wonder you can't drive yourself up there...it was breezy up there..nice scenery...went to the tulips park...the tulips are beautiful...we were up there for almost 2 hours...coming down from maxwell hill, we went for a cup of cendol at one of the famous stall for cendol there...after having our cup ofcendol we started our journey back to kl...
it was jammed all along the highway...Pa was driving from taiping to tapah...i took over at tapah at 6.30pm...and it was 10.30pm when we got to rawang R&R....it was rawang!!! it should be a one and a half hour journey from tapah to kl...but on that day it took us 5hrs to get to kl..we reached kg baru at midnight...had our dinner cum supper at that time..

so that was my holiday with my family...just a short trip but the most important thing is that we spent time together...my family my eternal love....
